"It's ok to cry"
WIP complete.
Fanart for "King of Hyrule" by and the whole series of " Ganonrulie extended universe"
It’s a great story and I really like it! ( the picture without blood might give a wrong impression, but the fic is more body horror stuff so don’t read it if you don’t like that!)
Version with blood below cut, proceed with caution!
Have to keep reminding myself that Zelda takes place in like medieval times. Wdym Wind can't be a gen alpha brainrot kid??? wdym he wouldn't tell legend he has negative aura??
I love Legend sick fics because they all boil down to: "no amount of emotional stress will make him crack so let's give him a fever and see how that works"
For the ask game: 14 overgrown, please??
Tired, stressed, and bleeding, Link pushed past the heavy stone door, overgrown with grape vines. The sounds of battle echoed behind him, and every Hylian scream he heard made him wince. He had done his best, but without extra help... the Kingdom of Hyrule was doomed.
Link limped into the mausoleum, just his own breathing and footsteps echoing back at him. It didn't smell dead in here, just old, and that gave him hope. Maybe the tales were right.
He hesitated before the coffin, the carved statue of a previous Hero lying atop it as if asleep, but then the ground shook with the force of the conflict outside. He shook his head and continued, carefully transferring the Master Sword from his hands to the waiting ones of the statue. Without its magic feeding his stamina, he fell to his knees.
Link had expected the top of the coffin to slide off, but...
The statue faded from white to color, marble softening to skin and fabric. Art always depicted the Hero wearing green, so Link was distantly surprised to see a vibrant, deep red, though the golden embroidery wasn't unexpected.
The Hero groaned loudly and lifted a hand to rub at his face. He cracked one eye open, and then the other, and then with a very sour expression, he sat up and saw Link kneeling next to him.
Startled, heart beating the most stressful rhythm he'd ever felt, Link swallowed. He'd mentally prepared a speech, one that Zelda would be proud of, but now, in the moment, most of his words had fled his mouth.
What came out was—"The storybooks never colored your hair pink."
The Hero handed him back the Master Sword, scowling. "So what ultimate enemy are we up against this time?"
Part 2 of this post!
poor legend is never going to hear the end of this lmao
I went through the incorrect quote generator thing (this) for inspo cause I kinda hit a dead end and this was literally perfect

“Ravio. You know him?” Shadow asked. Legend nodded once. Shadow’s jaw dropped. “You do? But you ... huh.”
Shadow looked at Legend one way, then the other.
“When did you last see him?” Four asked.
“It’s been a few months.” Legend pushed himself as far into the wood panels as he could. “Why is everyone so obsessed with Ravio today?”
“Because he’s your brother.” All three mer jumped as Hilda swam through the shattered glass, Fable following. Both wore matching, pinched expressions. “Your twin.
