Ok so i don't know who else thought of this, or if everyone knows, but you know how one day in the celestial spirit world is equal to 3 months in the human world, well one year for them equals 1095 months for Fairy Tail and that equals about 91 years.

The Celestial Spirits only knows their contract holder for about a year.

It starts to make a whole lot more sense to why some Celestial Spirits prefer to stay in the bloodline of their holder.

Something tells me Loke only appeared in the newest chapter because Mashima re-read his manga and went ‘Ah shit...Loke’s a Fairy Tail member isn’t he? Better give him his cameo.’
