Imagine Jurian is giving his glorious account about how he turned the tide of the human war to Lucien and Vassa and Lucien has fallen asleep in his chair and Vassa is constantly rolling her eyes and muttering, "he can't be serious" (but actually most of it isn't even exaggerated). And Jurian is getting annoyed at Lucien's lack of attention so he just says in a really loud voice, "Oh, hi, Elain! Fancy seeing you here!" and Lucien gets so shocked he falls out of his chair and Jurian and Vassa are both laughing their asses off at him while Lucien cusses his ass off at Jurian.

There are three main instances, that we know of, where Lucien stands up to an authority figure.

The first was when he stood up to Baron. Doing so led to Jesminda being tortured and killed by his own father and brothers in front of him, as he was pinned down, before said brothers turned on him too, and tried to hunt him down. He then had to watch Tamlin kill two of his brothers.

The second was when he stood up to Amarantha while negotiating on Tamlin's behalf and lost an eye.

The third was when he helped Feyre during her trial, and was tortured for it.

Yet the IC act like him not pushing Tamlin harder regarding Feyre's wishes was akin to murdering babies for funsies. Like, dude, the last time he did something like that he lost an eye, and the time before he lost his home, his own people turned on him, and blamed him for the death of the woman he loved. A guilt and pain that he likely carried with him for his entire life.

Was he kind of shitty towards Feyre? Yeah, a little.

Does Feyre have a right to be upset over it? Yes.

However it doesn't give her the right to dangle Elain in front of him, while also holding those actions over his head in order to manipulate him, while insulting his newest home, and his new friends.

To add insult to injury, every time he tried to make it up to Feyre, taking her to that town (where the citizens didn't want her help, like he told her they wouldn't), trying to find her after she was (as far as they knew) kidnapped by a psychopath, helping in the spring court, and leaving the spring court, he's treated like the villain. He tried to defend himself to Rhysand, only for Rhys, Cass, and Az, to make it clear that he isn't welcome, or respected.

If Feyre, or the IC, were never going to treat Lucien with any semblance of kindness or respect, then they should've just broken that relationship and moved on. By this point, Lucien's inaction is overshadowed by the punishment that he is dealt. Like in many cases, the IC's form of 'justice' or 'revenge' is worse than the original offence, thus negating any of that aforementioned justice entierly. It just makes them assholes.

The first 3 mins of bridgerton but it’s Tamlin And Feyre while Lucien stands guard absolutely annoyed they couldn’t wait until they got home to do that

Imagining Elain adapting to the Band of Exiles (plus Eris) makes me laugh so hard. Elain and Jurian trying to communicate is going to be next level stupid, I can’t wait. He’s going to constantly offend her without trying. Vassa is going to actively try and corrupt her by taking her to brothels and getting her wasted. Elain is going to be so annoyed by Eris in general that she’ll actually try to fight him.

And poor Lucien is just going to be a train wreck trying to adapt and cope and CONTAIN these people in his life. A mess. It’s going to be a complete MESS.

I try to screenshot every new comment by custom followers, and in last night play, Kaidan said something interesting I didn’t saved before. Since I play in first person view, I turned back to see him and... I saw Lucien running around naked. Why, Lucien ? I don’t know what bug that was or a conflict between mods or idk but it was hilarious to see this poor Imperial running around naked under the snow, except for his gloves, boots and jewelry.

Since it seemed Lucien wanted to be as tough as the Nords of Skyrim, I decided to train his stamina a bit... 8D

I’m not sure if I’m sorry or not to have made the most of this bug.
