Imagen Sasuke and Mai actually came back to the future. They got married, work in their dream jobs, Mai gets pregnant and they are very happy.

And then a wormhole opened and bring the whole gang of warlords to the future and since they know shit about the future they ended up doing something stupid that caused them to appear on the news.

So while Mai and Sasuke were just having dinner watching tv they see them and now they are running to get them before they do something more stupid

Man, you know what actually kind of hurts about the Ghost Hunt sequel? That Mai is not necessarily a better version of herself, even though she is more confident and has better control of her abilities, but that one dream she had where you find out that seeing Naru after she wakes up makes her think she’s seeing Gene and he literally cannot be there after she has that sort of dream/nightmare? That hurts. Considering how he comforted Mai in the Urado house, and every other time he tried to protect her and keep her safe whether she was asleep or awake, the fact that he can’t help her anymore because the sight of him makes her think of his dead brother, who he probably still believes she prefers...

I love them a lot, don’t get me wrong, but man. That ache. How bad must it feel for Naru who, of all people isn’t a caretaker, but the one person he does have a habit of taking care of he can’t.
