Open Starter

As if by a Christmas Miracle, despite the numerous portal delays and a layover in Atlanta (why it always happens there, she'll never know), she finally arrived back in their original world and set about finding her dearest brother, eager to set off her choice brand of festivities.

She kept her Hero detection off to make sure her surprise wouldn't be spoiled, and thankfully found her brother... distraught in his room next to her beloved and a bottle of Wagnas' draught beer... Oh dear, had she been away that long? She'll have to apologize later... 'just hang on a little longer, dear brother!!!' she thought to herself.

Figuring nightfall would be best for the little lightshow she prepared with magic, she set her nearby stage up - a little forest clearing with a large fir tree in the middle, with a bunch of presents and trinkets around the tree. Once done, it was nightfall, just like she wanted.

Sending a small decorated ether-man with a little Santa hat into Noel's room, it beckoned both her brother and beloved over to her impromptu stage, just as she set her Hero detection back on. ...And hopefully not be yelled at too harshly... Oops...

It was unfortunately too late to celebrate her dear brother's birthday (Curses!), but it was at least still appropriate to perform her intended song for him and Wagnas, just in time for Christmas...

And as they approached, she snapped a small band of ether-men to play their various instruments, and began to sing.

"I don't want a lot for Christmas, There is just one thing I need~ I don't care about the 🎁presents🎁, underneath the 🎄Christmas🎄 tree🎄~ I just want you for my own, More than you could ever know~ Make my wish come true, All I want for Christmas is you~❤"

Magical fireworks and holograms shot off in celebration, lighting up the area as she continued to sing and dance around the two until the very end, ending the song with one final, heart-swelling bang.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, dear brother, Lord Wagnas... I owe you an explanation. I'd wanted to perform this for your birthday, dear brother, so I'd been preparing everything in private. Mainly it was to protect myself from Kzinssie meddling with my plans - you know how he is. And that required I stay hidden, unfortunately even from you, since it'd spoil the surprise if I didn't. But then things went a bit awry, and I didn't quite make it in time for your birthday. I'm so sorry!" she hugged her big brother tightly, hoping to ease his exhaustion with her presence.

Easing up just a bit to look in his lovely ruby eyes - his slightly redder-than-usual, clearly tears-wept and sleep-deprived eyes... 'Oh no, I've REALLY worried Noel sick...' she thought.

"I hope you can forgive me. Good news though, your beloved sister is here once more, and I did finally make it back, just in time for Christmas!"

Another day, another mango. Still no sign of his beloved sister, but at least all was calm this afternoon at Nuono.

But suddenly, off in the distance...

"Burst open the locks, and then we'll say, 'Hooray!'"

"...What now...?" Noel groaned as he looked toward the open waters to see a boat comically swerve into the harbor.
