(And midlife crisis is actually called Arda-residential crisis because only elves in ME go through it. It's a thing. Elrond's whole life was one. Fëanor is the exception who experienced it in Aman and so, up 'n left for ME. That's why most Noldor hate him. Because his midlife crisis resulted in theirs.)
