Speaking of Halloween treats - I have treated myself to yet another rewatch of Thrawn animated comic, and YES, the dynamics between these two are...heartwrenching.
I do not exactly ship them. I do think it was love.

just finished reading thrawn ascendancy: lesser evil. weeping, gnashing my teeth, etc.
Ar’alani: “He’s brilliant, sir. Excellent strategist and tactician.”
Ba’kif: “And his political shrewdness?”
Ar’alani: “Poor to non-existent.”
Ba’kif: “Agreed.”
Of course I made a Thrawn one too.
Ok so some of the SWCC mural is really cool but... can we talk about Thrawn? Because he looks so WRONG and it really pisses me off. What happened to his long forehead, his pointy chin, his facial ridge? For cryin' out loud, his nose isn't even shaped right! I know they were going for a more realistic style but... why did they have to take away everything that makes him look like him?
