Finding a Real Life Camphor Tree

Wow, this has been in my drafts for the longest time.

A couple months ago, I had visited a ginkgo tree for the first time. And since I had thought that I might have been able to visit the famous camphor tree related to Lucien, I made the trip to find one.

And I spent three hours trying to find this one tree. *Sobs*

People say camphor are a summer tree, but to me, they always seem prettier in Autumn. My vision took in every vibrant green leaf.

“Still remember this spot?

“This spot?”

“It will all come back to you eventually.”

I was overwhelmed by a strong desire to sleep.

The last thing I saw was Lucien’s face. His face was a tangle of indiscernible emotions.

I seemed to see a reluctance, longing, a bidding of farewell.
