VI SOBBING WHEN CAIT HIT HER AND THEN JUST LEFT HER </3
I feel so fuckin bad for her, just watching Cait walk away after she promised she wouldn’t change, the gasping breaths, the despaired but resigned little sobs—like she knew this would happen but she hoped it wouldn’t. And now she probably feels so stupid…
even during their 'breakup' and Vi's pitfighter arc she still wears the Piltie belt buckle from the Piltover's Finest uniform Cait gave her
That girl is down bad in every circumstance even if she doesnt say as much
Symbolic for Cait holding her together as best she can while Vi destroys herself
Finished an @arcanefans4gaza prompt for @vistandsforvillainera, hope you like it, I had so much fun with it, needed a couple extra days, sorry for the delay, didn’t want to let it go!
And the way Vi's hands move on Caitlyn's body...
I think that Season 2 will focus on the psychological state of the character Vi and her struggle to find meaning in her life, after everyone abandoned her and she became an outcast.
This is my theory after the recent news regarding Arcane Season 2.
Thoughts on Cait's Heel Turn
Caitlyn's turn towards dictatorship in the first act is so deliciously vengeful I love it. Ambessa may think Cait's her new pawn but I don't think that's true. All Cait can think about is a rotation between grieving her mom, feeling a dark anger towards Jinx, and feeling almost everything for Vi. In her head the only way to solve that big hole she's feeling is to murder Jinx herself.
I think a small part of her at this point wants to take out Jinx not just for her mom but also for Vi in a twisted way. Hear me out, in Caitlyn's head Jinx causes turmoil to Vi because of well everything and therefore taking her out takes out the turmoil Vi faces whenever Jinx is brought up. SO her killing Jinx is mostly for her own revenge but it's also saving her girlfriend from having to do it herself.
Even still Caitlyn's revenge for her mom matters more than everything else. It matters more than the people of Zaun, more than the life of a child, and more than her own girlfriend. The only person who she's been able to be vulnerable with. This is the first time she's lost someone and she doesn't know how to cope. That's why she's letting Ambessa prop her up. She's not like Salo where he wants power; she doesn't need the glory nor does she usually condone senseless violence. She's running on pure selfish vengeful anger, it's perfect.
The way her eyes are red-rimmed makes me think about how much she must have been crying since Jinx fell…
