"Popcorned Palace Has Gone Off the Deep End"
"I just saw this video at Popcorned Planet, and I can’t tell you how much it pissed me off. The hyperbole, exaggeration, and manufactured concern were off the chain. I cannot believe that the Twitter chatter (I refuse to call it X) perpetrated by trolls and conspiracy nuts has leeched over to mainstream media platforms.
And all of this hysteria and finger-wagging is because the Mother’s Day picture released by the Wales had some photo manipulation elements. All of this is driven by the fact that Catherine the Princess of Wales has been out of the public’s eye for almost two months. Everyone wants to know where she is. How she is. Blah. Blah. Blah. This is not a mystery. We were told she had abdominal surgery and would be out of circulation until after Easter.
What part of this don’t the morons get? Why are people drumming up drama and speculation when the explanation was made crystal clear?
Demanding to see the Princess of Wales before her doctors release her is rude and outrageous. Whatever happened to courtesy and respect for someone’s privacy? She does not owe us an appearance, an explanation, or anything else. Yet, the internet is a cesspool of theories and conspiracies about her health and well-being. If genuine concern for her well-being was at the heart of it, I wouldn’t care. But that is not the motivation. These people are cruel, hateful, nasty lowlifes.
Catherine is not Lot Lizard and has never conducted herself like the creature Hazmat married. She doesn’t court media attention, and she doesn’t have Backgrid on speed dial. The trolls should not expect a future queen to behave like an attention-seeking Soho House whore.
There used to be a time when professional journalists were respected and truth seekers, but that time is long past. Now they are gossip rags. They don’t research stories or have legitimate sources, they regurgitate tweets and pile on. They copy and paste each other’s lies. They are disgusting.
As for Andy at Popcorned Planet, he’s lost me as a viewer. Check out his frenetic video for yourself. I can’t take him seriously when he asserts the Royal Family made a huge mistake with the picture and he “doubts things” because of one picture. He claims he understands that “some will have conspiracy theories,” and he can’t trust what comes out of Buckingham Palace anymore. If he can sit there with a straight face and check critical thinking and decency at the door to make wild and ridiculous statements like this, he doesn’t deserve one more minute of my time.
