This song reminds me a lot of Rey. She has a wild connection with the elements and ofc there is this whole opposite light and dark symbolysm going on in tlj, Rey was the water, the ocean, training on an island to become a jedi, holding a blue light saber. She somehow has this strange connection with her “enemy” kylo ren who presents darkness and fire (literally the first time he appeared on screen in tfa he burned down a village) However, these two bond in the throne room fighting together behind a burning wall , and then battling each other on an ocean in tros. So yeah, the ocean definitely lies inside of both of but mostly Rey herself.
