Obama 2008 Election Impacted more

I honestly believe that President Obama is more successful as president being elected the first time because he has more of a powerful impact on the people in USA. The editorial "Barack Obama for Re-election" is about Obama and his accomplishments when first elected. The reason is because he is the first African American President to be elected and also the first to be re-elected for a second term.
He had helped by allowing insurance companies keep parent's children on their insurance until they reach 26. He had set up an affordable care act which brings healthcare to those that cannot afford to have healthcare otherwise. Also, he has lowered drug cost for people who are Medicare for those who are poor and cannot get the health care they need. He also allowed that people who rely heavily on prescriptions to get free immunizations and mammograms and contraceptives. He had helped America by preventing the country from falling into another depression. He has also ended the war in Iraq which we knew as a country that Romney would have us continued.
Obama has also shown that he supports the idea of same-sex marriage. He also supported Don't Ask, Don't Tell which allows gay people to join the military and be able to serve their country. He, also helped by supporting the U.S Auto Industry that were close to going bankrupted. Obama also has increased fuel Efficiency. He has also pushed for more green leasers to help America become more green rather than relying on oil all the way. He has also invested alot of money into renewable technology to help reduce the amount of CO2 we give off when driving, creating new products and many other things. President Obama has played a huge role in making America a better country for its people.
Also, during his first election he got rid of Osama bin laden who is mostly responsible for September 11 with flying the two planes into the Twin Towers. He had expanded hate crimes protection based on people's sexual orientation, gender, disability, race and many more. Obama has also took up the role of improving the food at the schools that is provided for children such as providing more fruits and vegetables and must only provide whole grains foods.He also, set up an Act called "Pay as you go" for students who are attending to college that can pay what they can afford but taking care of their basic needs first. Then what money is left over goes towards paying off the loans.
Obama has also signed a Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act in 2009 which prevents companies from paying women less money compared to men for the same work done With these above reasons, is why I believe he was more successful during his first election because I notice he had a bigger impact on America in many ways that cause people to applaud him such as capturing the Osama and also by being the first African American President was a change for the country.
