šš¼šŗš½š¹š¶šŗš²š»šš®šæš | @thedukenw3 have recently launched a new menu and I went down last week to try their Sunday roast. Letās cut right to the chase; itās in my top 3. Everything about this was perfect. Firstly, the quality of meat. We went for the roast beef and the pork shoulder. Theyāve made sure that they only use the best quality for these roasts, and it really shows. The beef was incredible, the nicest roast beef Iāve ever had for a Sunday lunch. Not fatty at all, cooked perfectly, seasoned well, plus a really good portion. The pork was perfectly crispy on the outside with the cracking, a soft buttery layer of fat underneath, and then the meat itself was juicy and full of flavour. The potatoes were perfect. Soft and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The Yorkshire puddings too were the best Iāve had in a restaurant. Usually this part is the biggest let down. You can usually tell theyāre pre cooked by how hard and powdery they are when you bite into them, they almost disintegrate. But these were fresh tasting, light and fluffy. The gravy was good too. It was already poured onto the roast before itās served. Iām fine with this, but maybe others wouldnāt be. Bonus, you can order more roast potatoes, which I ALWAYS want to do. Granted, this roast was big enough anyway, and with the starters we had maybe we didnāt need the extra, but I love that itās a choice. The Duke of Hamilton is a cute small pub in Hampstead serving top restaurant quality dishes. Thereās nothing pubby about their food as theyāre really focusing on quality. 100% check out their roasts, but you HAVE to book. Also, itās dog friendly, thereās dogs EVERYWHERE. . . . . . #hampstead #sundayroast #sundaydinner #roastdinner #roastbeef #roastpork #porkcrackling #londonroast #yorkshirepudding #roastpotatoes #gravy (at The Duke of Hamilton NW3) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5fjgG8lWoe/?igshid=724se5cswx1l
