You know for a fact that in A Better World people on the internet regularly post Ford's wikipedia article talking about how he lived with his college buddy and close partner in the woods completely alone and he never had any girlfriends and described romance as a baffling mystery and everyone knows this man is gay immediately. And there is discourse, because of course there is. People discourse over whether it's okay to speculate whether or not Stanford Pines and Fiddleford McGucket were gay given that McGucket was/is(?) married. People start up the RPF discourse in general. People talk about whether or not it's okay to speculate on the sexualities of real people. People pull up interviews from the past thirty or forty years where Ford says some shit. People compare it to the speculation on whether or not Nikola Tesla was gay, and others shoot that down since Nikola Tesla's been dead for decades. Some insist he MUST be gay, others get mad at the erasure of the possibility of him being aspec or bi. They all do this completely unaware that back in the eighties that man was in a weird never quite romantic but absolutely queer love triangle between a freak triangle who he banged once who was horrendously abusive to him and between his close college buddy who many suspect he was gay with because he was
