How about 💥🍩🚆 for your two cyberpunk blorbos? ✨
WENDY you spoil me! ;A; *mwah* » OC EMOJI ASKS | OC DIRECTORY «
💥: What emotions do they have trouble dealing with?
SÖREN. || Anger. He's... pretty hot-headed, quick to fly off the handle, which arguably serves him well growing up in Night City's streets. But anywhere else? It tends not to go so well.
VIKT. || Sad as it is, positive emotions are the most difficult. His developed callousness—a defense mechanism in the stresses of working corpo—is ingrained deep. Feeling anything 'good' frankly confuses him.
🍩: Favourite sweet treat?
SÖREN. || Leelou Beans. Lemon, specifically. Man ensures there is a stockpile before he and Panam's venture to Arizona.
VIKT. || Dark chocolate is his weakness. He's usually nibbling on a bar while sitting through boring meetings.
🚆: What is their answer to the trolley problem?
SÖREN. || Without question, he'd pull the lever.
VIKT. || Meanwhile, this one would play 20 questions, because his answer depends on just who is on the tracks to begin with, what the circumstances are surrounding them being there, blah blah blah. You might grow bored waiting for a proper answer.
Finn got what was comin’.
For the oc ask, what would be their personal quest, if they have one? 👀
ooooh I like this one
so, imma use Six here because I love talking about them lmaoooo
their personal quest would be called "..and sharper tongues" (companion quest being named "sharp teeth"), which is highly deceptive of the actual nature of the quest.
in this quest, you travel with Six to learn the rumors of their past that they've been ignoring and dig into the truth of their history. you'll go around to different previously discovered locations (and find some new ones) to trace the courier's background all the way to a small house just before the Northern Passage, where you find a photo of their parents and siblings with a note scribbled on the back. you can read this note or not (it's an optional part of the quest), but you'll have to make a choice regardless -- seeing the house is in disarray and blood stains the dirt and walls, you can choose to give Six the photo or not.
if you choose to give it to them, Six will freeze up, promoting dialog about needing to think about things before vanishing for about 2 in game days, after which they'll return to the 38. at that point, they'll reveal their appreciation and admit, while it didn't entirely help bring back their memories, it did give them closure. Six will also admit to you that,, though the closure doesn't bring anything back for them, they're glad to have you as a friend and promise to always be there for you like you've been for them. completing the quest this way will grant you the Courier's Luck perk, which grants you +2 to Charisma and Luck, along with giving you a second chance to pass Speech and Barter checks.
if you choose to keep the photo, you will follow the quest marker back outside and lie to Six, saying you found nothing. from there, you'll be presented with 2 dialog options: "Who you were doesn't matter. Who you are now is what is important." OR "Your past shaped you, and it counts for something. You as you are now and the you that lies in the future count too."
if you choose option one, you'll be presented with a generic piece of dialog about how you're right and Six didn't get this far because of their past, etc.
if you choose option 2, Six will admit that they always knew their history would define them, but they never thought about how present and future them should also be added to the scales.
after each option, Six will thank you and say that, while they'll never truly get closure, they know now that their life is more than just the sum of one part. completing the quest this way will grant you the Even Sharper Weapons perk, which gives you a +2 to Agility, increase your overall speed with melee weapons and causes slower decay of your melee weapons.
if you'd like to hear about their companion quest or the end slides for the endings to their personal quest, lmk!!
For Hector: disease and blood? ✨
Disease: What does your muse do on a sick day?
On the off chance that he can take some time off – retreat into a dark corner, stay in bed for most of the day, mope around, consume soup. More likely than not he’s got stuff to do though, which he’ll have to power through whether he wants to or not. He’d try to keep meetings short and exertions to a minimum, as well as take the chance to nap whenever he can.
Blood: What’s the worst injury your muse has ever had?
I wanna say he’s had worse since Hector is an expert at shrugging off deadly injuries due to the funky shit that’s going on with his biology, but I haven’t developed that well enough yet so I’m gonna go with something more recent instead:
Losing an arm while fighting the Disciples at the power plant was pretty bad. Not just because of the injury itself but because he also had to hide the extent of it. He didn’t have the time or resources to lab-grow a new limb to attach, so in the interest of keeping his new handicap a secret, he pretended to have a broken arm and used the recovery time to fashion a robotic prosthesis. Once the aftermath of the Disciples’ betrayal was handled at Nuka World, he could finally leave to get a new flesh and blood arm sorted out.
17, 23 and 15 :)
From this ask game
17. NPC(s) you wish were companions? In FO4, I wish Honest Dan had been a companion, from the Covenant questline. In FNV, it’s either Vulpes or Benny, because I’m a dirty legion stan *and* a Benny fucker. It’s been so long since I played 3, but my gut says that it’s a crime that Sarah Lyons was not a companion.
23. Favorite headcanon? It’s a small one, but I heacanon that Sanctuary Hills was a housing development specifically subsidized for active military and military vets. On a related note, I headcanon, Ms. Rosa across the street lost her husband in Anchorage and is raising her son by herself.
15. Favorite location? This one is hyper specific to me, since I’m originally from Washington DC, but I adore that one of my hometowns is reduced to a police station full of super mutants in Fallout 3. If you were from Gaithersburg, you would get it.
