Everyone has things they find difficult, even neurotypicals. You may struggle with things other people do not, but your difficulties are equal to everyone else’s. You also have strengths that many neurotypical people do not have.

Being autistic does not prevent you from learning social skills yourself or having correct judgment of social situations.

Pride Positive

I’m proud and I’m not ashamed of it. Pride attracts a lot of negative responses: it’s named as one of the seven mortal sins in the Christian faith and it’s all too often conflated with egoism and hubris. I will argue that feeling pride is a good thing, a positive response to positive actions and circumstances.

A powerful message from an anonymous boycotter: Being disabled should not determine if one is "good enough" to be a parent.
