some of last month’s (and two June I’ll give ya for free!) pose references from my patre0n !
I want to show what shapes I use for poses to make it easier for beginner artists to find inspo and get used to blocking out parts of the body in a stylized way!💛
Do you have any refs of people playing violin?
yes but probably not well, technically speaking. please seek additional resources if you want it to be more technically correct as none of us are actually trained 😅 Also I think it's a viola if that matters. 🥰
working on a thing inbetween commissions
Tags I have:
‘item’, ‘vehicle’, ‘how to’, ‘resources’, ‘pose refs’, ‘environment’, ‘general’, ‘animation’, ‘creature’, ‘writing’, ‘good noise’, ‘prompts’
There are more tags but these are the main ones, but there are specifying tags which will be added to the tags of this post!
Also: ‘exercises’ is for exercises that are good for artists to prevent/decrease pain
If you want more specific tags, feel free to request them!
And here is a link to Artists for Palestine!
Its going based on artists willingness to participate alone!! If you are an artist and want to help Palestine and this project you should m
Additionally, I’m going to try to keep one current individual support post up at all times. Here’s the one I have now:
Hi I'm Judas (internet name NervesNebula) and I'm an American fundraising for my friend … Nerves Nebula needs your support for Help LGBTQ Re
Using spartans for anatomy references is actually really helpful. Why? Because the armor helps with identifying different body parts, and you can see the way the body bends in that way, like the hips n whatnot, showing the ways certain parts are angled and what direction they point to. And Infinite has a lot of interesting poses to look at and work from. Just sayinnngggggg.
Here are some examples:
Theres definitely more dynamic ones in-game, but these are just images I saw through the web. Whats nice is that they allow you to hide the UI to get a better look!
I promise this isn't just "I use poses from a game because I'm biased" I use them because I seriously feel like they helped me. Its so much easier to see and break down sections imo.
Welcome to MODEL MARCH
..a pose-reference art challenge inspired by Miraculous' association with fashion...and my need to practice anatomy. Oops.
The concept is simple: use the pose and draw! Adapt them as you need, do as many or as few as you'd like, draw oc's or fan characters or even just draw the person as they are.
Remember, all bodies are Model Bodies. I tried to include as many different refs as I could: male, female, nonbinary, trans, a slew of skin tones and ethnicities, fat, thin, sketch, photo, and even classic Miraculous poses. Sources are in the last slide, and feel free to ask about why I chose a particular ref!!
Don't forget to tag your incredible art with #miraculousmodelmarch so we can see them all together, and I welcome reblogs to spread the word! Happy drawing!!
More sketches for the comic i'm outlining, This time with A New Challenger!
