Robin is usually a kid thing but it's also not usually a mantle you give up voluntarily, Dick was fired, Jason died, Steph "died", Tim was fired, but it's also baby's first hero mantle and once you leave you get to Make Something More You i think

Tbh, Jericho was one of the best things about S2. You should watch the scenes that have him in them on YouTube 😆.

Yeah, but Titans Jason is like 19. If they had gotten a younger actor to play Robin, killed him off in a flashback, and brought Curran Walters in to play Red Hood theeen this whole thing would gel a bit better (although, if that had been the case, I would’ve wanted someone older looking to come in to play Red Hood). OR if they had killed Curran!Robin off and brought in an older looking actor a few seasons down the line to play Red Hood Jason then that would’ve been dandy. (Even though technicallyyy Titans shouldn’t even be focussing on anything to do with Red Hood Jason).

Hi Hi! Love to see a Joey fan honestly! Not trying to be a dick but I do actually know why Joey didn't get thoughts in NTT and surprisingly it wasn't Wolfman

It was Perez who was the only force behind Joey's design and creation, and it was good idea to forgo thought bubbles for him so that all the nuances of his character were visual and came through the art. At least according to his foreword in the NTT annual #4 hardback?

Not trying to defend the choice because you're right it's a Fucking Yikes. Or Wolfman because he's already got so many Choices(tm)(c)(r). Just having an autism moment about it, sorry

its an interesting idea i guess, and something that couldve been possible with more thought put into it. i know bart allen of the 90s for example doesnt use thought bubbles most of the time, and when he does theyre filled with art:

so that kind of approach IS possible! in joeys case unfortunately, because the comic refuses to translate his signing OR give us insight into his thoughts (and because he's part of an ensemble cast, so by necessity he's given less screen time), it mostly leads to other people telling us how Joey is feeling.
