Hey, I don’t usually make my own posts on here, but I really need to share this information.

If you are an Apple User, please DO NOT SCROLL.

I had a phone call today to move a dentist appointment. It was a simple phone call, moving it from a date I could no longer do, to a later date that would work.

My phone overheard this verbal, VERBAL, conversation and, when I opened my calendar to delete the old date and move it, automatically suggested the exact time and date said over the phone.

This was not written down anywhere, it was the very first thing I did after the phone call ended. It could not have obtained this information anywhere else.

I don’t know what exactly did this, or if it’s something that can even be turned off it settings. I think it may be “Learn From This App” under Siri, or it could be part of an update. If anyone does know or finds out, PLEASE SAY SOMETHING. I’ve tried to search for what it could be but it’s not giving me anything.

Regardless, I will now be looking for a new phone, since this seems like it could only be a blatant misuse of AI. If my phone is listening to my calls, God knows what else it’s listening to. Or even watching me type.
