The weird thing about liking monarchies but hating money and work and otherwise being a communist is that you don't really fit in anywhere. Because I hate violent revolutions because of what happened to the monarchies in europe, and it's something I don't want repeated. I'm used to the royal families of the world just being there, and I don't see why they need to lose their stuff just because we're destroying money and the concept of things like capitalism. Monarchies (especially the ones like in the UK) are almost entirely ceremonial positions now, so I see no harm in them.
The few absolute monarchies out there? Okay, they're pretty bad. The king or emperor needs no power, absolutely none. But they might as well be allowed their title, since it provides some small semblance of consistency and stability in life. And I need some amount of consistency to function. Also, the monarchs of the globe haven't actively made me feel like my life could be ruined in the same way the obsession with money and work ruins my life. I hate the people who built that system, and I don't think the monarchies are the exact same as the mad capitalists. I'm pretty sure royalty might actually be older than capital, hence it being something I'm not as mad at. I think the monarchies should apologize for bad things their countries have done, but I don't think we need them abolished. I'd rather see money gone than monarchy.
