And he's off 😩 the 5ish weeks we've had together post deployment wasn't long enough... now he's gone again for a field experience/ training op and no ones been given a "home coming" date yet 😑 💔

The love of my life ... Post deployment haircut and moustache (THANK GOD ITS GONE NOW!! 🙌🏼). This is the day his family (older sister on the left ) and I got him back from his 6 month deployment, 3 weeks ago. Since then we have managed to live of little to no money, battle through floods and insane heat, move into our first home and overcome all the (major) teething issues this place has. Yesterday was the first Valentine's Day that we got to spend together, we got to wake up next to each other and fall asleep together in the same bed ❤️ in the 5.5 years of dating, only one was spent together... and looking back, I don't even care. I would do it all over again, if it meant I could have what we do now. 3 weeks ago you came home. 1 week ago our life together officially started.

Post deployment is weird. Like what am I supposed to do with myself. I was doing close to 14hr days 7 days a week for almost 5 months and now I'm on leave. On the bright side, my wife is very happy to get a break from all the house chores because I feel the need to 'do something.' most days I play with our 2 cats for several hours. I am their favorite mom now.
