પોસ્ટ ઓફિસમાં સ્ટાફના અભાવે રાત્રે આઠ વાગે થઈ રહી છે પોસ્ટની ડિલિવરી ધ્રોલની પોસ્ટ ઓફિસમાં સ્ટાફના અભાવે લોકોને તેમના જરૂરી કાગળ રાત્રે આઠ વાગ્યે હાથ લાગે છે. તો બીજી તરફ ચાર પોસ્ટમેનના સેટઅપમાં હાલ માત્ર જ પોસ્ટમેનો કામ કરી રહ્યા છે.

Dear Followers,

Some of you may have noticed a confession has gone missing, this is because it has been deleted. Those of you that saw it may know why; for those that don’t, I could just delete it and pretend it didn’t happen but I don’t want to do that so that’s why this is being written.

There was a confession on this blog that in a way “slipped through” and it caused a bit of an immediate ruckus. Mind you it was only a few individuals that got upset (the majority of notes were positive), but I saw their point and frankly I was very embarrassed that I didn’t follow my instinct about it.

There are several things that make this blog unique and tricky to work with and one of those things is editing of content. 

I try not to reject many confessions unless there is an obvious misunderstanding of what this blog is for (those are easy to just toss) because sometimes I’m genuinely not sure what will be considered “toxic” to some and not to others (plus this blog is so small I try use any content I get from followers). Some of the confessions I get are a raw, blurted out, rambling, unchecked messes of feels and I try to pick through it all to get what the confessor is “really” trying to say but I also worry about editing a confessors words and intent to the point that it’s not their confession anymore. I don’t want to be the opinion or language police of the dragon age fandom, I just want to focus on the positive and fun and unique/interesting aspects of this game we all love and share. In short, while I edit some confessions down to the parts I think are ok and leave out the parts I think are irrelevant sometimes; depending on my day or what have you; some things get through or I tell myself not to worry about it because I’ve let some things go and nothing happened like I thought it would. 

But the other reasons some things go is because I need to be careful not to impose my thoughts and opinions on others with this blog. I may not agree with some confessions I get but I have let them through because this blog isn’t about me and that’s that. So I thought maybe I was over thinking this one as well.

This turned out not to be so. I did see a problem with the confession but I reasoned with myself that some of the content was culturally dependent and that it was possible the issue wasn’t as big as I thought given the context of the game and what people know of the characters’...well...character.

I was wrong and I am sorry.

I will try to do better in the future.

Please remember that I am open to comments, suggestions, discussion, and complaints.

I stand by my original mission to make this a non-toxic environment and not to provoke reactions that quick or strong.

But please remember in your complaints that I am one human being running this blog and I’m going to make mistakes.

I plan to make another post soon with more guidelines about confessions for this blog. Most people send asks so not everyone is seeing the submissions rules (or I don’t think they even show up for some people, weird) so not everyone is seeing them anyway. I will try to be thorough but it will take time.

Again I don’t want to be the fandom police I just wanted a place where the majority of confessions are fun and interesting.

I got this months Owlcrate in the postbox downstairs. I usually have to pick it up at the post office, and now I know why. Cause the box doesn't fit in the box! How in the world they got it in there I have no idea, but it's not coming out! I had to get a pair of scissors and cut the side of the box open and pull the content out, to be able to flatten the box and they it out of there!
