The part of having anxiety that nobody really talks about is the memory loss and for me that’s one of the worst things.

Like when you’re having a panic attack, and your mind is in flight or fight mode, your brain isn’t worried about making memories. It’s worried about the surviving the danger you feel you’re in.

So when people ask, “well what happened that made you so anxious?” I straight draw a blank most of the time. Then I’m doubting if there ever was anything.

So this is me, here to tell you that just because you may not remember clearly, doesn’t mean you’re making things up. You. Are. Valid.
