Because when you acknowledge, you take back your power. Living in bliss is not living in bliss, it's living in ignorance. Living in bliss makes you weak and asleep to the spiritual nuances that exist.

“It’s good to see you again Jack. It has been far too long, how have you been? Have you heard from Bert lately?” Mary asks him with a small smile on her face. She always had a soft spot for Jack and Bert, both adults who remember, who don’t forget. She might even say they are her friends.
@prfessionalthief | debbie | cont.
SHE HAD BEEN MANAGING HER CLUB for awhile and had found her best ‘friend’ the same way she left her, the coffee she had made her before she had left untouched and knew it was one of those moods. Worry finds it’s way on her face. She had been watching Debbie for a bit, she was so obviously lost in thought. That is nothing new, that is something Debbie had always done and something Lou is used to. What is new however, is that she seems even more closed off than she already had been before prison. She let’s out a small breath, her arms crossed as she watches, she supposes that it’s her job to get Debbie out of that shell she had created in their years apart. Ease her back into talking to her.
When Debbie asks her to stay with her she does so, taking a seat next to her. She would always stay for the brunette, would come whenever she was needed by her. “ Good girl. ” Lou says, a small ( smug ) smile playing on her lips. “ Now lie down, let me take the watch, you will feel much better when you’ve let yourself sleep. ” She takes her tablet from the sidetable and starts reading Tipping the velvet by Sarah Waters. “ Let me know if you need something, I’ll be here. ”
Can I exchange pain for happiness so that I can live?

We are both the cause and the effect.

@lessersinned | malorie & luce.
She just arrived in this wonderful establishment after years of living on her own, blindfolded most of the time. She had been fortunate to have been at her mother's house (there was a supermarket next door) when the creatures first came. Her mother has a parrot and Luce quickly realized that something was amiss when he started to yell. Her mother never came home and soon everything quieted down.
She was traveling with two wonderful men, who loved each other dearly. Sadly they didn’t survive the trip here, one of them was taken in the boat, the other succumbed to the voices in the forest. Now she was here, in this school. As safe as anyone could get in this crazy new world. The second day there she sees someone she once viewed as a good friend. “Mallorie?” she says with disbelief.
