It’s still funny that Dan is now physically younger than Danny since the cloning projects were trying to replicate Danny’s age around kindred spirits and I’m assuming agit takes place a year or two later than that.

With the full cover reveal for the next graphic novel "Danny Phantom: Fair Game" I want to go little bit into theorycrafting.

One of the things that got my attention is the equipment of the A-Listers( ecxept Dash, does he want to hunt ghosts with his bare fists or what?), where does it come from? We know of 3 primary ghost hunting equipment producers form the show:

Fenton Works

Guys in White

VladCo

With how they look like in the cover we can exclude 2 of the list:

Fenton Works gadgets are always greyish with green colored accents:

Plus in the AGiT graphic novel the A-lister wore also the Fenton jumpsuits when they were hunting in the beginning, so in the sequel the A-lister did not get their equipment from the Fentons.

The Guys in White have equipment which are white with blue accents, sometimes green:

They also probably don't sell the secret government ghost hunting stuff to minors who are not even undercover with their white suit uniform. They are out of question too.

VladCo's stuff are a wild card and the design all over the place:

But something is in common for the official stuff which Vlad used for his public appearance, the big "V" as a Logo. Vlad secret gadgets don't have that, especially the equipment Vlad provides for Valeriein secret in the first 2 seasons:

And those almost looks exactly like the A-lister equipment in the cover art. "Almost", because Kwan hoverboard has similarities with Valerie's second hoverboard which is Techus design ( and telepathic connected with her or something):

The difference is the the "sidehorns" are missing and the color scheme is not black with red but grey with pink like Valerie's first equipment.

What can we conclude from this? Did Vlad after his heartwrenching speech how he wants to redeem himself after the events from AGiT just said: "Nah, I just continue to be evil and let's use Danny's class mates as pawns and give them ghost hunting equimpent to hunt him ( and Dani) down."?

Well, that would be kinda lame wouldn't it? I think someone different with access to Valerie's equipment gave them to the A-Listers:

We saw in the end of AGiT that two Valerie exist in the timeline now. I think the Valerie in the full cover of Fair Game is the Valerie who forgot/ didn't experience the event of AGiT and hunts Danny like business as usual. The timemedallion!Valerie is working behind the scenes, reverse engineered her current hoverboard and gave that and her old equipment to the A-Listers.

Why would she do that? Maybe with Phantom action in AGiT she saw even more how dangerous ghost are expecially halfas and wants to the eleminate every single one of them, even Dani who she became friends with and even with the help of her former "friends". Or she wants revenge because for here not only did ghost put her into poverty they also destroyed her timeline ( well, that escalated quickly). Her only purpose in live now is to take revenge to the ones that did that to her ( which would be tragic, that means she would be a like a "living ghost" with the revelation in AGiT that ghost are emotions manifested and all that).

I also had a theory that the timemedaillion!Valerie kills the oblivious!Valerie to take her place in the timeline, but I think that would be a little too dark. Or maybe the two Valerie team up together after timemedallion!Valerie somehow convinced the oblivious!Valerie of the events of AGiT.

In which Maddie (vlads cat) hates dan. Dan is however given the child duties to clean feed and brush said cat.

The only thing worse than being back in the body of a fifteen year old—and all the aches, and limits, and emotions that come with his unsolicited humanity—is being treated like a fifteen year old. 

“We are not having this conversation again,” Vlad says, reclined in a wingback chair, one leg crossed over the other, not so much as a glance up from the newspaper spread open before him. “If you’re to be a part of this household, you will contribute to this household.” 

Dan’s shoulders stiffen where he stands across the man’s pretentious cocobolo desk, fingers curling until he can feel the bite of his nails leaving angry red crescents against his palms. “Funny. I don’t remember asking to be a part of this household.”

“Nevertheless,” Vlad answers, snapping the pages of the Milwaukee Tribune to punctuate the end of the conversation.

Dan gives the man a second to elaborate—two long beats of silence before the hot words bubble up the back of his throat and escape. “I am not taking care of that vile furball. It—” 

“Ah, ah,” Vlad cuts in when the detestable creature in question leaps up onto the desktop. It closes its eyes and starts revving like a pickup truck as the man folds his paper down for a damn cat, leaning forward to scritch beneath its chin. “That’s not a very nice thing to say in front of her, now is it?”

“What’s not very nice is waking up to the sound of that thing puking on my bed.”

“Oh, were you feeling sick, sweet girl?” Vlad croons into the cat’s purring face.

Ugh.

“I’m feeling sick,” Dan says between gritted teeth.  

A cold, unsympathetic gaze flickers up to him. Vlad returns to a stiff-backed posture in his chair, fixes the already laser-level precision of his tie as his lips press on an equally straight line. “Then I’d suggest you complete the tasks expected from you—” 

“Chores,” Dan interjects bitterly. 

“—sooner rather than later. While you’re still feeling well enough to snark at me.”

“You know, in my timeline, you cowered from me,” Dan growls, chin lifted, glaring down his nose at the man. 

“Mmmm, fascinating,” Vlad murmurs absently, papers rustling as he returns his attention to the Tribune. 

“I miss those days,” Dan mumbles under his breath as he stomps closer to the desk, the cat instantly going on the offensive as he does. It drops its head, shoulders rounding, tail flicking as the fur up its back visibly prickles. As he reaches out for it, his features twisted on a sneer, he gives a low, warning, “I swear, I will turn you into soup if you—”

It narrows golden eyes and hisses at him. He responds by baring his own fangs and hissing back which sends the animals skittering into the safety of Vlad’s lap, newspaper crumpled beneath six pounds of fur and spite in the process.

The man gives a long-suffering sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingertips. “Dan, please. Is all of this really necessary?”   

“I’m not the one making this difficult. You stupid cat hates me.” 

“I wonder why,” Vlad deadpans. 

Dan slams his palms down against the desk, hard enough to send the metal beads of the insipid Newton’s cradle perched in the corner clacking together. 

“I will not be humiliated like this,” he roars. “Ordered around by some middle-aged sycophant on a power trip. I had Amity Park in the palm of my hand. I batted away armies like they were nothing. The Fright Night answered to me! I was practically a god.” 

Vlad just reaches out to stop the pendulum swing of the cradle with one hand, the other stroking a soothing motion over the cat curled up against him.

“Yes, that’s nice,” he says impassively. “But now, you have the constraints of a child—your powers limited—I still have my ghost half, and the only alternative to this arrangement we have is to take your chances with the master of time.” He says the moniker with no small hint of derision, rolling his eyes as he does, but it sends a faint shiver running up Dan’s spine anyway, an emotion he hasn’t felt in nearly a decade tightening across his chest. Whether Vlad picks up on it or not, he puts a knife-point precision on the fear as he goes on, a knowing glint in his gaze as he meets Dan’s eye. “He’s already tried to unmake you once—allowed you more grace than you deserved by giving you another chance. I can’t imagine how favorably he’d look upon your lack of cooperation now.” 

Dan grinds his molars together hard enough to crack.

“So,” Vlad continues, lifting the cat by the scruff and dropping the now disoriented ball of fur back onto the desktop. “I expect you to take care of Maddie. You can start by trimming her nails. They’re getting a bit long.” 

“Is that all?” Dan asks, cold enough for the words to frost over.

Vlad’s lips twitch on the edge of a smirk. “Oh no, certainly not. You’ll need to bathe and groom her. Empty her litter. And feed her, of course. She has very particular tastes. She’ll only eat soft food—have the staff write the brand down for you, you’ll likely need to go put in a request for more at the shop soon. It’s special ordered. And you’ll want to mix it with a little bit of the hard food for her teeth. But not enough that she’ll notice. And don’t forget, she won’t eat anything if she doesn’t see you open it in front of her.”

“Are you kidding me?” Dan can’t help but interrupt with a snarl.

“Just think of it as a growth opportunity,” Vlad answers, fingers steepling  on the desk before him. “It’s a good chance for you to learn to get a handle on that temper of yours.” 

Dan forces his expression into the tight rictus of a smile, though his eyes are filled with murder as he leans forward to scoop the suddenly squirming animal into his arms.

“I hate you and your cat,” he says in the most pleasant tone he can manage.

“You’re welcome,” Vlad answers with a self-satisfied grin.

Before he can do or say anything he’ll regret, the white hot flare of rage burning behind his sternum, Dan twists for the door, squeezing the cat to his chest. Though it could just as easily be a furry white octopus he carries into the hall for all the limbs that lash out at him, the creature trying to wrestle itself free.

A furry white octopus with a dozen tiny little knives. 

“Soup,” Dan whisper-hisses the reminder at the bedeviled creature as sharp pin pricks pierce the sleeves of his sweater, “A big ol’ pot of Kitten Noodle if you don’t cut it out.” 

But even a cat doesn’t take his threats all that seriously anymore.

Idk if anyone's played around with this idea but post-AGIT clone-body Dan visits Amity Park where Dash mistakes him for the real Danny and tries to bully him

which is a huge mistake

because Dan happily gives him the thrashing of a lifetime and strolls away in a really good mood.

Dash tries to blame Danny but no one believes him because Danny Fenton, being able to beat up Dash Baxter?? You've seen how small that kid is right? Dash stop messing around, you got hurt doing something super embarrassing or illegal didn't you? Come on man what was the actual thing you did come on you probably realize that saying Fenton beat you up makes you look worse than whatever thing you probably did right?

Cue Dash trying to prove that Danny is secretly stronger than he actually is, only to be foiled at every turn because Danny and friends caught on to what he's trying to do. Maybe Vlad foils him too cause Dan is supposed to be his responsibility and it was Dan who got Danny into this mess to begin with.

Eventually Dan lets Dash see him with Danny, they explain that Dan is his cousin, but also so Dash doesn't go back to bullying Danny he tells Dash that if he ever touches his cousin again Dan will have to take a hand as recompense.

Dash never bothers Danny again. Maybe he gets to go on a redemption arc where he realizes how trash he's been to everyone below him on the social pecking order and how much those teens hate his guts for it and decides that he wants to change. idk. But he stops harassing Danny.

What do you think happened to Vlad? He obviously cant full fill his duties as Mayor anymore. Any knowledge on what could have happened?

Well due to uhh “personal issues” I think he taking a break from being in the public eye for a while.

Might be a way for him to get a fresh start and new perspective on his life. Maybe patch up something from his past…maybe.
