My girlfriend released their EP today on Bandcamp! (I'm featured on a track too hehe).
Here's how she summarizes the EP:
"I imagined a dreamy, saccharine coming-of-age where everything goes the best it can. I thought it ideal for the concentrated, often uncomplicated emotions of electronic music. But as the songs came together, the pulp floated to the surface. Selfishness, dishonesty, distrust, and unkindness took the story off-track. The dream fell into a desperate nightmare, the saccharine yearning fermented into dread, but my heart still felt the story was going the best it could."
in addition, she's donating some of the money to both a fundraiser for a family in Gaza, and a local resouce that supports our homeless neighbours in our city by providing free necessities like tents, clothes, chargers and more.
"up to the first $10 paid out from every purchase will be matched by me, with the total going to the Hamad family in Gaza and the distro disco free store in so-called vancouver (up to $10 each). If that's too confusing, or you don't like the music, then please just send money directly to them:
