Posthumanism is the rejection of anthropocentric and humanocentric views e.g. that humans are the most important entity in the world and are superior to nature which humankind views as resources. Therefore, I based her design off of the Mycorrhizal network, also known as the "Wood Wide Web", and different parts of the natural world such as fungi, flora, and fauna, because I wanted to emphasise the interconnectedness of the natural world and how each biotic and abiotic component works together to form and sustain ecosystems (basically ecology.) The type of fungus xe's based off of is the Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, commonly known as the "zombie-ant fungus," since I thought it would be neat to make her a bug like her dad while also making her some kind of fungus. ^_^ ↳ {Lore ramblings below!:}

Posthumanist was created from embryonic stem cells, originally taken from Transhumanist's organic body, making her biologically related to it in a way, which was genetically spliced with a radioactive fungus created by Posadist. Similar to a hermit crab, Transhumanist would create robotic frames to host the fungus as it developed and built larger frames as Posthumanist matured; Posthumanist is the fungus itself and not the frames she possesses. ↳ {Posthumanist's abilities:} zey can feel what another individual or biotic lifeform, e.g. a plant or animal, feels by using direct contact, this isn't like mindreading and instead she can notice subtle changes in a individual's heartrate, blood oxygen levels, specific hormones and their levels, where pain is located, etc. and like the Mycorrhizal network xe can transfer nutrients, hormones, minerals, water, etc. to another individual to make them feel better. For example, if someone is having anxiety, she won't be able to immediately know what is causing it, but she can sense the hormone adrenaline being produced. Additionally, if xe is in direct contact with multiple individuals, she can make them all feel what the other individual is feeling, which helps with settling arguments. Finally, again when she is in direct contact, she can talk and create images in the minds of others, it's like how we can talk in our own heads and form images, except it's a third party. ↳ {Other miscellaneous details!:} ✦=- Ze uses we/ours when referring to zemself, not because she's multiple people, but because it's a reflection of how she views everyone as a collective, that we're dependent on each other and the material conditions/environment, and that nothing can survive on its own. ✦=- She's sexless because she doesn't fit in the human sexual binary of male and female, not saying that the binary is valid anyway, so realistically she probably has over a hundred sexes. ✦=- When xe was younger, xey were more green but slowly became more orange over time to match her father (Posadist.) ✦=- She calls Posadist "pops" or "papa," and calls Transhumanist "dad".
