If we, say, start working on the whumptober prompts as soon as they drop and post the pieces as we finish them (throughout September and October, likely before the actual dates of the prompts) but tag appropriately for the day the prompt is for, does that count for Whumptober completion? Or do we have to post them on the day the prompt is for?

as long as you finished by the end(ish) of October you can consider yourself a completionist. The day you're posting the fic only impacts your chances at being reblogged by @whumptober-archive :)

New Posting Time

Hello everyone!

The posting date has been pushed back a little to give you all some more time to finish tweaking your gifts. The new posting date is January 2nd, around midday for people in the US and evening for everyone in (central) Europe. Check out this countdown to see what time, exactly, it is for you.

Warning: all gifts must be posted by that time. Late gifts will not be accepted this year and there will be no running after participants who haven’t posted in time. All gifts still not posted after the January 2nd deadline will automatically be given to a last minute pinch hitter.

If you don’t think you’ll be able to finish in time, please contact us ASAP so we can try to find a solution together.
