The Song of Ronan Glenwood
And o’ have we heard the tale
of the sword of the one true king
And o have we heard it fallen
To do this one vital thing
heart blackened with hate
Who cursed Elsewhere to such a fate
And o the death of the sidhe of this realm
magic stolen, babes slaughtered.
But o! Came a hero, come to claim the sword!
Rejected queen hood as her just reward.
A champion of nature, and warrior of the land
Came to fight mad King Aldred, with magic in hand
The Lady of the Lake sent out a cry
And Ronan Glenwood answers with head held high
The Queen has come! Say the children of Elsewhere
The Queen has come! warns the lady from her lair
The Queen has come! shouts Aldred with fear
The Queen has come, and now she is here
Happy @writeblrsecretsanta to @medeaes ! I hope I did your WIP some degree of justice. Whims and Wishes really captured that part of my brain that just wants to write poetry and I had such an easy time envisioning your universe through verse! Lots of love <3
