We are getting close to posting, I'm super excited! Important links and information are in this post, so remember to check back here when you need links in the next couple weeks.
Please read everything in this post so you know how to properly submit final works.
First is the link for choosing the posting date for your team (remember your team ID? that's what the mods use it for!). That can be found here. Like with proposals, you will rank your choices. (September 1st through the 5th).
Second, here is the link for final works. You have to submit this form for your work to be posted on your posting day.
Lets talk about final work posting.
This is the link to the 2025 big bang page on AO3. The collection is now open, which means that you can post your work to the collection. Once you've picked a posting day, the mods will approve your works on that date. This is done so that all our creators don't have to worry about timing of posting and such.
What you need to do:
Before ranking your choices for posting dates, you need to discuss it with your teammate. Both works (art + fic) of a team will be posted on the same day.
Your team also needs to agree on how the final works will be posted. There are several ways you can do this.
Each creator posts in their own work on AO3 (artists, please tag your story with 'fanart').
The art is posted within the fic itself on AO3 (writers, please make sure to have artist credit in the fic)
The art is posted on tumblr, linked in the fic, with a link to the story posted with the art.
In all cases, teams should decide for themselves how they wish to be credited in each others works. If on AO3, the 'inspired by' tool is great to use to link the works together.
Once your team has decided how you want to post, you can pick your posting date. Only one person from each team needs to fill it out. The mods will let you know what date you get.
Writers - please make sure you are posting to the collection. Doing so will keep your fic hidden until your posting day, when the mods add it to the collection. After you've posted to the collection, you will need to head over to the final submission form (again, found here).
When the mods have received your final work, you'll get a little congrats email from us as confirmation.
Artists - you must also fill out a final work form, regardless of how you are posting. If you go with option 1, your process is the same as the writer. Option 2, you will use the fic link + title in the final work form. Option 3, please see the mods to let us know the work is complete. You will have to manually post your art on tumblr on your posting day.
Remember that posting starts September 1st, and all final works are due August 27th!
If you cannot meet this deadline, you need to communicate that to the mods. We can usually squeeze you in a few more days, but only if you tell us :)
