🧸 ﹐ at first , i think neither of them would be super open about regressing in front of each other ? akito probably wouldn't want to seem vulnerable around his friends , and kohane is just generally shy about it .. but eventually they'd get comfortable with it !! after that they are 100% inseperable ... good luck trying to pull them apart ( you're gonna need it ... ) ₊♡

🥞 ﹐ they can both be protective of each other in their own ways !! akito's is more obvious , i think ... kohane gets startled and overwhelmed easily and he tends to be very protective of her like this !! think the "she asked for NO pickles" meme but if they're both babies and also clinging to each other .. awww <3 ₊♡

🐹 ﹐ kohane can also be really protective though ! i think she's more the gentler type , almost like she's copying their cgs while trying to be comforting . i think she'd really try to check on him except she's also really small so it's mostly just shoving a plushie into his arms and hugging him . she's not super sure of what she's doing but she just wants to make sure he knows she cares about him 🥺 ₊♡

🥞 ﹐ at vbs sleepovers , i think they'd be really cuddly . an and toya are also cuddly with them ! but they're inseperable . an and toya smile about it a lot , considering kohane was initially terrified of him ! it's nice to see how much your friends can grow closer , you know ? ₊♡

Hey again Vash! Just a couple random questions I've been sitting on for a bit:

How drastic is the time dilation between the Candy Canyon and the Circus? Caine's celebratory adventure has been going on the past couple chapters while at least a few days have passed in the Canyon, are they running concurrently in-universe or was that just a formatting decision?

How often do you tend to complete chapters before posting them? Do you usually have a few chapters ready in advance or do you post right after finishing them, or does it vary? I know I just tend to get stressed if I don't have any completed projects on the backburner to post in case I get into a creative slump, not sure if that's common or if it's just a me thing lol.

Do you have any favorite ships besides funnygummy and crocodile tears?

Are there any other indie show fandoms you're in besides TADC, or at least other ones you've liked?

How many Pomni and Gummigoo lookalikes are going to be running around by the time this series is over? (/lh)

Hey there again! Sorry for the late reply but I had to sit and think for a bit. Also, my computer doesn’t like Tumblr for long sessions now and it crashes the browsers a bit.

The time dilation’s mostly at Abelle’s mercy, so there’s not an exact, consistent ratio, but as of right now, Pomni’s about three-four weeks ahead of them if you go by their calendars (for Pomni it’s January 13, 1916, and the other humans keep a vague track of time, so it’s around December 10 for them). Caine’s adventure is somewhat concurrent to the current action going on the Marzipania (but’s its been spread out to not be too overwhelming and break up the monotony of sections). The dilation will speed up even more on the Canyon side of things in between parts 1 and 2 versus the Circus.

It really depends! On the earlier stages it was usually being done with a few days to a week before posting – and mostly because I had a stash of completed chapters to post weekly. These days I try to have at least some form of the next chapter done or almost done before posting, in case I have any major revisions. There’s some sections that have been done well in advance before they get spliced into their respective chapters, but for the past three months or so it’s been posting the new one as soon as I consider it done. I tend to get a bit stressed if I haven’t posted for a while – December’s the month I really struggle with, just because of my IRL workload then, and I feel bad when something doesn’t materialize. I’ve got other projects on the backburner because I’ve struggled with them, or put them through a lot of rewrites, and I feel guilty enough, lol, so it’s not just you!

Oh boy, I’m gonna ramble on this one! Besides Funnygummy and Crocodile Tears, I’m also fond of Abstragedy, Ragapom, and Checkmates, at least in terms of the main ships. I’m also interested too in Funnygummydoll as an OT3, and also Ragatha x Gummigoo, Loolilalu x Ragatha, and Kinger x Caine just for the ideas they could bring about. Probably will end up interested in Ribbit x Jax if we get more into their characters (which we probably will). Also slightly fond of the accidental Pomni x Max. Generally, I’m pretty ambivalent on the ships – in a good way, so if it works for the fanwork’s plot or looks cute, I’ll take a look. I had to live through the Avatar series ship wars and the whole debacle of Frollo’s Secret Mistresses (although that one was more secondhand, like a spectator watching a 19th century battle) to really have strong likes/dislikes on TADC ships. Though Funnygummy’s pretty much the OTP for me.

Another good one! I’ve never really been involved in indie show fandoms to the extent that I’ve been involved in TADC. Honestly, it wasn’t until Episode 2 that I really got invested into it – the Aussie gummi gator and his existential crisis really got to me – but there were some things that I liked. Murder Drones (and Cliffside before that – it’s how I even found out that there Vickers got a show), and I was (still am) real invested in Lackadaisy when it was still just the comics posted on Deviantart. Speaking of the comic side of things I was really into Sfeer Theory when it first started posting – it’s output’s slowed to a crawl, but new pages come out every once in a while. And I’m awaiting the next installments of Glitch’s other shows, too. I’m sure there’s other things I’m forgetting right now, but that’s all right off the top of my head.

At most, there’s going to be two Pomnis – the fake one in the Circus will be around for a bit. As for Gummigoo, as many models as Abelle needs to populate the map (probably not very many), but we’ll start seeing other characters’ duplicates in the next part.
