Post Pals - Brightening the lives of sick children
Post Pals is a charity where you can send cards, letters, gifts and smiles to hundreds of children who are very ill and unfortunately many of them are terminal. This charity gives you and your children the opportunity to do good and brighten the lives of these children. I will be fundraising for this charity at some point in the near future just because I think it is so important and meaningful. I don't have children of my own, so will also begin writing and sending gifts to one of the little darling's who are registered and waiting for some uplifting mail.
I'm also going to make and donate a dress to one of the little girls <3 I will keep you all updated
I wrote a letter to a girl called Jayde who is seriously ill through Post Pals and I got a letter back today. Other than feeling fulfilled, it was genuinely awesome to have a conversation with someone I seem to have a lot in common with (she's a fan of McFly and Harry Potter). I wrote the letter (and will carry on doing so) in the hope to make someone smile and, it in turn made me smile, so definitely check it out: postpals.co.uk
I just watched Carrie Fletcher's new video where she gave us a link to this website. It's called PostPals and it is a small charity run entirely by volunteers who are dedicated to making seriously ill children and their siblings smile by the sending of cards, letters, little gifts, support and friendship. So please have a look and write a letter to put a smile on a child's face.

Just wanted to tell you all about this website called www.postpals.co.uk. They give you a chance to write letters to, email or send gifts to seriously ill children and their siblings. It doesn't take much to do, and we can all make a child smile and forget just for a little while. It's so easy and it's such a great idea.
So I decided to go check out the PostPals website after watching Carrie's video and this happened. Oh YouTube.

Right, so I've spent this evening trawling through play.com trying to find some perfect presents for some of these kids
It is one of the most worthwhile charities, honestly, it allows you to send letters, card, emails and presents to seriously or terminally ill children who are in and out of hospital.
You needn't spend any money, but it would be amazing if we could all find five minutes to at least email one of these desperately poorly children.
