It sours those words of God

3. Keep Sammy safe even if it kills you

They just keep on getting twisted

Turing into the words of the Devil

1. You’re nothing but a soldier

2. You’re only worth your usefulness

3. You’re the expendable one

They turn into resentment

Yet they play on repeat those words of the Devil

Your Father

1. You’re nothing

2. You’re worthless

3. You’re expendable

In the end they will kill you

Those venomous words of the Devil

Recognition

Today I met myself

I was scared and vulnerable

My brother did not recognize me

He knows me as strong and fearless

Still it stung

Realizing he does not know me at all.
