The Start
Kurt remembered his first semester- Rachel was a semester ahead of him due to Madam Tibideaux having a moment of insanity and all Kurt could do was take an extra course. He’d hoped he and Rachel could rule the school, but Rachel had other things on her mind. Most notably Brody. As hot as he was he was ten times more irritating. So, Kurt had to take matters into his own hands and join clubs to meet people. He’d joined the Tennessee Williams Playwright Group and a few other clubs- including the Adam’s Apples, which gave him a glee club and eventually a boyfriend.
This semester wasn’t much different. He’d again, taken an extra class so it didn’t seem like he was farther behind, and he’d been looking at clubs to join. He even started one of his own- The Stephen Sondheim Appreciation Club.
Kurt hummed to himself as he put up posters in the common area. He wasn’t going to tell Adam, but he’d even covered a few Apples posters. They really didn’t need any more members anyway, and Kurt really wanted to get his club going. Adam had even refused to join because he was more of an Andrew Lloyd Webber fan. Kurt had scoffed at that, though. He’d heard the stories about Andrew from Patti LuPone herself- well, in her biography at least.
He smiled to himself as he walked to the coffee shop on campus and waited in line to get his non-fat mocha. He also hoped that maybe he could sweet talk the barista into letting him leave some flyers near the register.
