[[ holy shit let the shipping begin! ]]John had the day to himself, so, that morning, he decided to call up a friend and go get pizza for lunch. Jade and Dave were busy (Dave was teaching her about video games, but the farthest he would get would probably be Nintendogs), and Rose was on a date with her girlfriend, Kanaya (More like SHOPPING, ew! Booooring!). So John decided that his best option would probably be Karkat. After all, he hadn't hung out with Karkat in forever! And luckily, to John's delight, he was free! And thus John and Karkat decided to meet at Pizza Hut and grab some lunch together.As John walked to the pizza place, he heard a faint ticking in the back of his mind. It was barely audible, only heard when one was alone and lost in their thoughts, but sure enough it was there. There all the time. There until you meet your true love ("or whatever, haha"). John didn't mind it though; it actually made for a pretty decend tempo when he practiced the piano. John thought about these things and more trivial things as he neared Pizza Hut.But just because he was aware of the ticking doesn't mean he ever actually checked his timer. After all, why would he?? He didn't really know anyone interested in him and he wasn't really interested in anyone either. Best to assume it would be awhile, right? John put his hand on the door and pushed it in, entering the shop. The delicious smell of pizza instantly hit him and he immediately felt his stomache growl. He hope Karkat got here soon- BUZZ!!! John was caught off guard by a sudden buzzing noise interrupting his thoughts! But as quickly as it came, it vanished. ...And everything was much quieter than usual.Shit.John lifted his wrist and looked at his timer. Yep. It read 00:00:00. He looked around frantically, desperately wondering which person in the room was his soul mate!!! How would he be able to tell??
