Aren’t they bootiful
First day of the potato diet/cleanse yesterday. Oil free oven baked fries with a side of ketchup, sautéed onions and mushrooms, and raw spinach, yellow tomatoes, and carrots.
Dinner and dessert ❤ I'm taking a week of paid vacation and decided to do the potato cleanse. Monday and Tuesday, and this morning, were a bust. I baked cookies and made spaghetti. Today I went to the super market by myself and got some spices and saw they had Japanese sweet potatoes. I bought a couple and oh man. They taste like sugar cookies. Sweets are my weakness, and orange sweet potatoes make me puke. But these. These are so good. I'm probably gonna go buy more tomorrow and officially start the 7 day reset tomorrow. :)
Day 1 - Potatoes Only
Doing a potato “cleanse”. Feel satisfied on it. Not sure how long I am going to do this, but maybe by end of month.
Had 1300 calories of potatoes and yams. Add 1/2 cup of soy milk to make them creamy. No added oils or fats.

Day 3 and not looking so well
So, I went all the way till dinner only eating potatoes and veggies. But then the Oreos were haunting me again... and I gave in and binged. I think restricting myself to vegetables has been a terrible mistake because I’ve over stressed about what I am making for dinner/lunch/breakfast and it just hasn’t been the best. Potato reset, may you rest in peace until perhaps January. My biggest issue was that classes are currently going on so I was tired of having cold potatoes and I hate microwaved food! So, I’ll try this again during winter break... Till then, my potato-loving friends!
P.S. I lost a total whooping 1.2 pounds in 2 days (1 fully compliant, to be completely honest). Not bad at all!

Day 6. I had homemade hashbrowns for breakfast, with spinach and mushrooms. Then I had the rest of my veggie dogs for lunch. I'm on my period (sorry) so I am craving caffeine and sugar, so I had a little Dr. Pepper. But now I'm drinking water. I'm going to make wedges for dinner. Tomorrow's day 7. I think after this week I'm just going to really go through my pantry and make a menu. And tommorow I get paid, so I'm going to stock up on seasonings and stuff and spend my next day off meal planning. I can't eat just potatoes on my period. I'll die.
