Hi Nienna! I still take medications yes because my thyroid has been damaged so much it may not be possible for me to get off them. However Iām happy to report that my antibodies have reduced while eating a lot of potatoes. A couple of years ago I was also able to stop the constant dosage increase and actually decrease (while eating whole foods plant based).Ā I strongly believe diet makes the biggest difference in managing Hashimotoās - and for some people, if caught early enough may even be able to eliminate medication (working with their doctor).Ā Ā

Heya! Plan on taking potato dishes for reheating that arenāt crunchy, because they donāt reheat well if you donāt have an oven or a grill nearby. So things like soups (which you could keep warm in a thermos) and leftover boiled potatoes that you can place on top of a bed of greens, or some leftover baked potatoes (pour some of that soup on top!), and something I love for on the go is fat free potato salad. Keep your lunches in a cooler back (except for the soup if you have thermos)
