“you use an entirely different kind of rice for risotto??” a ha! so it is still rice that goes into risotto? you, sir, just played yourself. i mean… if i overcook my rice enough it also gets all sticky… which happens more often than i want to admit… which is incidentally why i don’t cook much rice. potatoes are truly versatile. there is no other vegetable that would make as good an unhealthy snack as potatoes.

I mean. But. Hhhhhh. Okay. It is rice. But it’s made in a different way and it also tastes different and it iS NOT THE SAME OKAY. Risotto is great, rice is... acceptable. Sometimes. Also, I was gonna ask wtf you do to your poor rice, but then I remembered I have only cooked rice one single time in my life so I don’t think I have the right to roast you. 

Potatoes are literally just god tier and I firmly believe that they should have a honorary place away from the vegetables.

My dinner tonight is a pack of instant potatoes cause nothing else in my kitchen sounds good, I’m too lazy to make anything involving effort, and there’s no one here to stop me.
