Attract Wealth Potion

Goldie's Guide to Witchcraft: A Tumblr Grimoire for The Masses

Having money troubles? Need some extra cash to scooch you by? This is beginner friendly potion can help give you a little luck in that department, but before we get to the recipe, just a little disclaimer:

Magic can't do the work for you. You must put in the work and effort to better your situation, this potion will just give you a boost so that abundance is amplified!

With that out of the way;

A cup of milk, any kind is fine. (fertility)

Dried chamomile flowers, but chamomile tea could also work (associated with wealth and abundance)

Cinnamon sticks / ground cinnamon (associated with wealth and several wealth gods like Hades, Hekate, etc)

a pinch of salt (for grounding, use very little)

[Optional] Lavender ( explained later on)

Make sure you cleanse and charge your cup before adding the ingredients, and you must visualize your intent with each ingredient for maximum manifestation. Think about the symbolism of each ingredient; chamomile flowers making your bank account blossom, milk filling your pockets with change, etc.

Personally, I usually make this potion before bed as the ingredients tend to induce drowsiness, and it will allow the potion to truly take affect as you sleep on it. Lavender may used to aid in this.

Finally, breathe your intentions before the first sip or mix clockwise for an added touch of abundance! Stir counterclockwise for protection :) Have fun, and good luck, Witches!

Violet Potion to Find a Quality Lover 🍆🍑

Hello my little buttercups! Spring is upon us and with that, a Spring Awakening of sorts. If you’re left wanting for a little bit more than the dreck your tinder swipes have been turning up for you (no shame to tinder users, it’s just host to a lot of bad dick!) then look no further than this Violet spell.

Ingredients

Green Tea Leaves (brewed into a medium strength tea.)

Violets

Violet syrup if you happen to have some :) if not, don’t worry about it!

Okay so obviously this is a horny spell. The way it works it to draw an unspecified person into your life. It is not intended to be used on a specific person, and also it simply won’t work on a specific person. Please use your magic ethically :)

Violets

have a litany of magical associations, among which are protection, luck, love, lust, wishes, peace and healing. We’ll be appealing to its lusty nature here.

Green Tea Leaves

are often associated with riches, courage, and strength, but an infusion of the leaves (tea) also has precedent as being used as the base for lust spell beverages.

Steps

Step One: Brew and then strain your green tea.

Step Two: Enchant your violets. Hold them in your hand and imagine a white light surrounding them while you think of your intention. You can come up with a brief recitation if it helps you stay focused.

Step Three: Drop your enchanted violets into a heat safe vessel, and cover with an abundance of your hot tea. Add sugar/honey/violet syrup to sweeten the spell (and so it tastes nice) and stir clockwise 69 times ;) (or less, if you have a preferred number for stirring your potions.) When you’re done, stir it in reverse once and take a sip of your tea to cast.

Step Four: You may like to remove the floating violets with a fork at this point because they’re kind of annoying to sip around. Otherwise, kick back and enjoy your tea hot or on ice.

Soda Magic

Cola (Coke)

Is useful for protection, exorcism and banishment. Drink it if someone won’t leave you the hell alone, or if you’re battling negative thoughts.

Root Beer A soda of family, togetherness, and good communication. Root Beer is a wholesome drink that represents the home. Drink it if you want to end drama with your relatives of roommates, or you just want to promote a good relationship with your loved ones.

7up

Is a drink for keeping good health, both physical and mental! Drink 7up if you need some peace of mind, or your stomach hurts. This is also good way to magically cleanse yourself! (You know, if all you have is soda!) Orange Soda

can bring happiness and inspire creativity! This is the soda for celebration and imagination. Have you noticed how young children are more likely to drink orange soda than adults? Maybe the key to your inner child is drinking more orange soda!

Grape Soda

the ~magical~ soft drink that boosts all your psychic powers. It’s the amethyst of soda and not just because it’s purple! (though that does help) Drink it before/during divination, spirit work, or any magic that relies on your connection with other, higher powers.

Pepsi

is the soda of justice, in a way. It’s good for tearing down enemies, breaking off relationships, or good old fashioned hexing. It’s also helpful in a less malicious ways, like bindings and mirror spells.

Sprite

is a soda of fortune and wealth, and you should drink it if you need to get a job or come into money somehow. Or, for general luck, and general success.

Dr. Pepper

represents identity and boosts confidence. If you’re dong any introspection, it can help connect you to your true self. If you’re using a glamour, it will assist in keeping up the appearance you’re trying to achieve.  Drink it before performances ( though not right before, because soda isn’t great for the voice.) or when you’re meeting someone new.

Strawberry Soda is a soda of romance and love! Drink it to invite new relationships into your love life. If that’s not your style, drink it to promote self-love! You deserve to treat yo self.

Ginger Ale

the one-up of sodas! Add it to another drink to boost it’s properties, or drink it own your own to give yourself a magical pick-me-up! Really it could be applied to any skill, mundane or otherwise, if you need it! Diet

a diet version of any drink has the opposite properties of the original. Drink it if you want to nullify the effects of the classic version.

tbh love potions in movies are dumb af like theyre like “i put all this work into this love potion! time to give it to my crush and hope im the first thing/person he sees afterwards!” like nah bruh i be mixin up a whole ass polyjuice type thing i be takin a strand of my hair or some shit so i know its me even if im not around for them to see me. like theres no guarantee the potion will work in your favor so why make it unless you are 100% sure that they will fall in love with you (or whoever its intended for) like sure it sounds gross but potions aint for taste theyre for magic shit like if i had to drink something made of dog shit but it would make me have super powers and i know it works u KNOW imma be drinking that shit.

What Are REAL Potions?

For anyone who doesn't know, I've started making potions! ✨ It's really enhanced my craft, and each one makes it easy to accomplish whatever the goal may be.

You might be wondering, "What even are potions? I thought they were just fake, and in movies like Harry Potter."

Just because something's in a movie, doesn't make it any less real. Let me explain:

Of course when making a potion, you're not going to be able to change your physical form to look like someone else, or whatever else they do in Harry Potter, but one could make you easier to talk to, or attract a lover in your life.

Potions can range from drinkable to deadly, depending on what you're trying to accomplish. A drinkable potion (sometimes called elixirs) could be an intentionally made cup of tea or a magical Sangria, while a deadly one could be infused with Belladonna* to banish an evil spirit back to the underworld. These types would not be drunk, and possibly not even opened once made.

*Note: DO NOT USE ANY POISONOUS HERBS IF YOU DON'T HAVE KNOWLEDGE ON THEM. BELLADONNA CAN POISON YOU JUST BY TOUCHING THE LEAVES.

I've only made potions that are on the white side of magic, and they have been magnificent. Here's one I made for my birthday this year:

Allyson's 23rd Birthday Potion

Strawberry Moon Water

Ingredients/Tools

- Fruit Infuser

- Pot

- Strawberries, sliced [for self love]

- Sugar [for simple sweetness in life]

- Moon Water [for psychic development], when charging in the full moonlight, keep it in a closed container so you can drink it.

Method

- Make the night before your birthday.

- Dissolve Sugar in a pot of moon water on stove.

- While the sugar is dissolving, slice the strawberries.

- Place the sliced strawberries into your fruit infuser.

- Now, pour the sugar moon water into the same container as the strawberries.

- Place in fridge and let infuse over night.

That's a delicious drinkable potion that helped me enhance my self love, and improve my psychic abilities. Plus it's a pretty pink color! 💖
