The Warner Bros. Movie lot is abandoned.
Suddenly. Mickey & Co shutter as they hear the WB water tower clank and lurch.
And 3 singing voices emerge from the rusty inside

Hey title known, have you heard of transistor? Its a great game, but the main reason I brought it up is because the main antagonists of the game, the process, are stylistically nigh-identical to your potshots. Right down to the ambiguous backstory. It's one of those funny little coincidences, and I thought you'd be interested.
Looking ‘em up, yeah, I can see what you mean
But I do think that’s more coincidence. The “white minimalist IPod-y” design aesthetic is kind of a larger trend, and “Unknown machines emerging from the chaotic technological ecosystem of our society” is a relatively simple trope; albeit one which I haven’t seen used that often outside of Digimon.
One day I may have to do a longpost on that latter point...
