Albus Severus Potter remembers three things about his past life:
He was a boy named Tom who died in the war.
Tom played a crucial role in his dad's life, and he in Tom's.
Their connection was soul-deep.
Conclusion? Harry and Tom were soulmates, and so deeply in love that Harry still can't bear talk about him more than twenty years later.
In fact, they were so deeply in love that rather than pass on when he died, Tom fought his way back to Harry. Fought to be reborn as close to him as he could.
If that happened to mean being reborn as his son, well... surely that's a minor obstacle for someone who's already overcome death itself to be with the one he loves.
He's just missing a few small details.
Like Tom being Voldemort.

“It’s not the same anymore.”
You lock identical green eyes with the young man draped along your side, who squirms his body against yours as you trail lazy fingers up and down his spine.
“Hm?”
“Our hair.” He cards his fingers through your unruly locks, biting his bottom lip in thought. “Yours has grey in it now. It’s not the same colour as mine.”
You resist the urge to laugh at how put out he looks by this revelation.
“That’s called aging, Albus. And while I know wizards go through the process at a slower pace, it still happens.” You narrow your eyes at him playfully as a new thought crosses your mind. “I should think you’d be happy about that. If memory serves, you used to rue your resemblance to me every second of every day.”
Al pushes up on his elbows to face you, his lips twisted into the smirk you’ve always loved as so quintessentially his. “Let’s just say I have a newfound appreciation for our shared attributes nowadays,” he replies cheekily, one hand snaking down towards the waistband of your pyjama pants. He strokes you over the material, his smirk magnifying at your soft groan.
“Merlin, Al—how ever will I guess just which attribute you appreciate most?” you tease as he runs his hand along your semi-hard length in a maddeningly slow motion.
“It’s obviously,” he drawls, shifting as he leans up to press a soft kiss against the side of your head, “the grey hairs.”
After reading such beautiful second person halbus from @rowena-rain and @the-invisibility-bloke recently, I saw this prompt and couldn’t resist trying out the ship myself!

weasleycest this, blackcest that... i wanna see POTTERCEST. yeah, i wanna see james potter dating harry potter. think about it, they're both idiots in the same level. harry is just like his father, after all. i wanna see them having a beautiful relationship and dating and kissing and being all in love. cuz they'd both be head over heels for each other and pining idiots.

pottercest is kind of whatever to me? i mean i don't see a reason as to why it would happen , yk ? the potters are the Good family wo problems to me, f&e&j were shown to be happy and safe and loving, that's kind of their whole thing, so to make them disturbed enough to indulge in incest is kind of whatever to me. i can see harry developing weird psychosexual feelings for both his parents, his aunt and cousin from somewhere in his early childhood to mid teenage years but nothing that he would voice, accept, or act on. it's fun to think about his thought process though !!!
