It's a bit of a long story, but unfortunately a couple of other writers and I, who volunteer as moderators for a Tomarrymort community, have been dealing with ongoing targeted attacks over the last few weeks. Between that and some things going on in my personal life, I ended up feeling pretty burnt out. I just didn't have the emotional bandwidth to keep writing while also dealing with a pattern of intimidation, invasions of our privacy, and other underhanded behavior from a small handful of individuals in an otherwise amazing community.

We collectively decided that what we needed was a full reset by stepping away from fandom for a little while, which included temporarily privating our works.

Unfortunately, that's the reality of what this kind of behavior does. It doesn't just hurt the people targeted; it also means fewer stories for everyone else!

I hope it's a reminder to all that there are real people behind these fics. And healthy fandoms depend on creators feeling safe, supported, and excited to share what they make.

I still love Tomarrymort, I still love writing, and I'm incredibly grateful for my kind, thoughtful readers and the wonderful friends I've made through this ship.

Thank you so much for reading my fic! My stories are very dear to me, and I absolutely hope and intend to come back to them when I'm in a better place. Right now I'm just taking the time I need to recharge so that, when I return, I can focus on what I love most: writing and sharing stories about these two idiots falling in love. 💜

Never do I feel more like an incurable weirdo than when I look up an incest ship on ao3 and it's solely hardcore smut.

Like. no. unfortunately, I am not a gooner searching up the freakiest shit I can imagine to get off and immediately never think about again in the post-nut clarity of moral normalisation. I think a good chunk of the draw of tomarrymort, aside from the tastiness of darkship and all the fucking crazy parallels they've got and the way that- I digress. The draw comes from the fact that there's no way in hell Voldemort would ever chase anything he didn't desire to have with a burning passion, and oh boy does Harry fucking deserve to be wanted.

New Chapter of Take Any Form! We're baaack!

Albus Severus Potter remembers three things about his past life:

He was a boy named Tom who died in the war.

Tom played a crucial role in his dad's life, and he in Tom's.

Their connection was soul-deep.

Conclusion? Harry and Tom were soulmates, and so deeply in love that Harry still can't bear talk about him more than twenty years later.

In fact, they were so deeply in love that rather than pass on when he died, Tom fought his way back to Harry. Fought to be reborn as close to him as he could.

If that happened to mean being reborn as his son, well... surely that's a minor obstacle for someone who's already overcome death itself to be with the one he loves.

He's just missing a few small details.

Like Tom being Voldemort.
