more experiments in fabric paint
yesterday i shared how to make rorschach tests on fabric for projects. well i took it a step further today.
i did it twice using two different colors of fabric paint. red and black. two of my favorite colors. though it seems i should have done the red first.
materials:
plain canvas & your favorite bag pattern
two colors of fabric paint that look good together
cut your material out using your pattern pieces.
take the lighter of your two colors (again hindsight) and make a fun pattern on one half of one piece of material. i swirled it all around.
fold material to the the other side and press down gently. open it up and let it dry completely. repeat with other pieces.
next take your second color.
make swirls or patterning over the top of your other color. again fold in half and press down gently. open carefully and let dry completely. repeat with other pieces.
sew your pieces together.
what did you make? i would love to see them!! check out mine here.
