L’Organisation des Nations unies pour l’alimentation et l’agriculture (FAO), compile un rapport sur les pertes alimentaires, mesurées au niveau de la production agricole et de la distribution.  

Selon ces chiffres, environ 14 % des aliments produits dans le monde sont perdus avant même de parvenir sur le marché, soit un montant de quelque 400  milliards de dollars par an, à peu près le PIB de l’Autriche

Making a poussin and pearl barley stew. The third picture is how I make stock, which I always do when I cook a whole bird. I then freeze it to use the next time I am making soup, or freeze in portions to drink as broth.

Oh no, I almost forgot to post this painting! 😱 This second acryl-gouache painting was also painted as a gift, for the wonderful witch.mab on Instagram (who may still have a tumblr? I have no idea D:) MAB is one of the fantastic artists I had the opportunity to meet in Strasbourg last year, and an incredibly inspiring presence. And also a bunch of baby chicks. 🐤 ~~~~~~~~ Nom d’une patate, j’ai failli oublier de poster cette peinture ! 😱 Cette seconde illustration à la gouache-acrylique a également été peinte comme cadeau pour le formidable witch.mab sur Instagram (qui a peut-être encore un tumblr ? Aucune idée D:) MAB est un des artistes fantastiques que j’ai eu l’opportunité de rencontrer à Strasbourg l’an dernier, et une présence inspirante. Ainsi qu’une petite pile de poussins. 🐤
