Revolution have really been on it lately with all the new releases and I wanted to show you one of my new favourites. It’s time to meet the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Powder Foundation, £8.00. I have recently really got into powder foundation products because they are so much more lightweight for your skin and this particular one has a lot of skin benefits. If you’re wondering I have the shade P2 which is for fair skin tones with a pink undertone.
Ok so before we get into the formula and product itself we need to chat about the packgaing. This powder foundation is encased in a luxury rose gold finish compact embossed with the Revolution ‘R’ and even includes a foundation puff to apply your foundation on the go. It’s the perfect size to just throw in your handbag and you’re ready to go. This powder foundation gives you the perfect demi matte finish with buildable coverage so you can decide how sheer or full you want the finish to be.
The website recommends these methods of using the products depending on the finish you want. So first you can apply using the soft touch air brush foundation puff for a smooth and even finish or you use a dabbing motion to pack product onto the skin for a flawless air brushed finish. Both methods honestly work like a charm. I have been testing this a lot and I honestly love how it looks on my skin. For a powder foundation I must admit it looks really natural, doesn’t cake and when you pair it with a matte setting spray it lasts even longer.
