Staryu
This Keiji Kinebuchi remake was a lot of fun, it's made from a mix of polygons (Staryu's body) and Nurbs (Staryu's metal parts and everything else). I'm also particularly proud of how the sand darkens when the wave washes over. That was somewhat tricky to pull off.
Magnemite
My second shot at remaking a Keiji Kinebuchi pokemon card render, and I love how it turned out. Modeling with nurbs curves is a very interesting process, and you really have to plan ahead. Something as simple as a screw becomes a puzzle to solve. It's extremely satisfying once everything starts coming together.
