Goofy Movie Powerscaling
An observation I made that happened to some games I've played:
This can lead to people losing interest in a game and Could cause the death of the game in a worst case scenario (only if the rest of the game is oversaturated and has problems as well).
REBLOG IF YOU AGREE AND LEAVE A COMMENT IF YOU KNOW A GAME THAT'S IN A SIMILAR SITUATION!
Examples I can give from my experience:
Brawl Stars (From real weapons to silly ones, less new rares and super rares and more epics/mythics/legendaries, overly complex brawlers, ultra legendary rarity)
Genshin Impact (Powercreep trend that started with Neuvillette, Natlan characters having overly complicated kits and being P2W because they feel mandatory for exploration, the land of dinosaurs having pixel holograms, Dj turntables and MOTORBIKES)
And I'm afraid Forsaken will suffer the same fate because of Veeronica and Guest666. I mean just look at them.
I hope you liked this illustration and I hope it got the message across...the only problem I have with it is that I've grown a bit attached to these bright colored fighter guys I came up with in a few minutes even though they're supposed to be the "bad ones"...
OH, AND REMEMBER!: Even if you agree that a videogame that wants to be successful should be more consistent and fair, you can't really apply the same thing to OCs and fanmade game characters!
A lot of oc artists (like me) don't actually work with game companies (I mean they don't at least to my knowledge), and passionate artists can come up with the wildest ideas, because they have no limits.
DON'T HARRASS ANY ARTIST THAT JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN! Thank you!
Haven't seen anyone talking about the implication raised by Silver Wolf LV. 999 that if the cap is 999...
Well the cap was 99, but it could be surpassed. A limit is a "rule". And rules are made to be broken.
So if (narrative) powercreep is inevitable, is Wolfie all but guaranteed to someday break the 3-digit cap, and either get a new 9999+ form, literally ascend into an Aeon arguably equivalent to present ego-death, or both?
(I feel like it was mentioned at some point that the 999 cartridge is basically "on the cusp of the realm of the gods", aka theoretically if 1-99 is the potential of Punklord, and 100-999 is the potential of the Cosmos, 1000+ is the potential of Aeons. But I forget where/when + the specifics.)
(Also just for some fun powerscaling, Phainon scraping Nanook means he's gotta be, like, at least "LV 800" in the relativity of the cosmos? Idk maybe channeling the path of Destruction carries unique properties, side effects not calculated via raw power level)
Tf was this post about again
Some doodles, posts for the sake of posts
I'm really not a sadist but I feel like the amount of blood he coughed up was not enough? I'm impatient to see the part where he leads the war while completely covered in it! I still also don't know how he gets pale like that when he has a restoration ability, shouldn't it also recover the blood he lost? He looks way too thin in the official art, and no matter how much I get excited when he's in danger I'm genuinely worried the author will pull some absurd move and perma-kill him! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
it's all the foreshadowing right? author-nim really have us on a tight chokehold waiting for the other shoe to drop-
@powercreep
All in all, this promises to be a silly but excited night.
Somebody put into Simon's head the fact that, now, she wants to make a big, soft kind of extremely garlic-ked bread. In her kitchen, you would imagine! No, nope, nothing of the sort. That 'somebody' is a video about a person making that dish in the woods, so of course the tiny demoness will follow it like a religion. Like it's something to live by. Is she doing this just because she knows Wrath will follow her? ... Maybe. Or maybe he will tag along so she won't turn into uncanned food for wolf. If it's for another reason? She doesn't suspect anything, blissfully unaware of anything but her own excitement.
Gathering ingredients it's not difficult, really: she just needs some herbs, oil and the classical ingredients for a bread, doesn't she? The pitter-patter of her naked feet can be heard from another room as she hangs in the kitchen, humming to herself and climbing up and down the counter to get a giant pan and then another, tying them together with a knot and pulling them over her back. Without putting shoes on (because those are for losers,) Simon ventures back into the living room, excitedly bouncing up and down with each step. You can tell that she's very excited when the frightening demon that she's supposed to be turns into a sparkly-eyed child that thinks of nothing but fun.
''Babe!'' She calls from near the door, hopping in place. ''Babe, I'm ready! Lessgo!''
Man, Pokemon has to have some of the worse cases of power creep I’ve ever seen.
Think about the legendaries. It went from 3 strong birds, and a big alien thing, to 3 strong dogs, a fire bord, and a water... thing, to the god of the earth, water, and the commander of both of them, to the embodiment of truth and virtue. Now look at SWSH and S&M. SWSH has something that can consume the world like it's nothing. And S&M literally has something that gains more power by consuming light. If it consumed the sun, not only would we all be screwed, but, at that point, it could kill Arceus. Talking bout Arceus, HOW ABOUT WE MAKE GOD A POKEMON?
