Yeah, it's a small series of powerful ladies. This one was very cool to draw! I wasn't sure if adding red will be a good idea but guess it was a very good idea :D.

From liking very shy and sad characters I grew up to liking those strong ones and guess it's pretty much visible, mainly in my personal drawings :3.

The Void | Mixed Media on Canvas | 2016 | 26 x 36 cm This painting conveys the sense of loneliness felt by those who have lost their brothers/sisters in the war in Syria and how this sense of loss is deepened every time they see families that have survived together. Artwork is part of ATAXIA Exhibition, a solo show for the Syria artist @nourzantah at the @P21gallery. The exhibition of the artist’s paintings transcend barriers of language, race, age and nationality, provoked by images and representations of war and violence from Syria, where she lived all her life until 2012. The works explore the suffer, deaths, solitude, migration and war among other themes.
