Taking back our youth

Just so happened to watch the Cardi B new video via Youtube called “Twerk”  my thoughts are racing and I really am not sure where to begin. Let me say this I am a mother of an 11-year-old girl who is already becoming aware of her body and the image that is placed on young girls today. I am really disgusted that they were allowed to even place this on social media and that it is glorified by many. I understand the struggle and where she came from and how she came into fame. I thought the goal was to be better than where you came from. There are a lot of young girls that are idealizing her and the message that this is sending. Is tell the young girls that its okay to be a stripper and it's okay to twerk on camera as long as you are getting paid for it. I already have a problem with the media raising the young generation but “DAMN” when is enough, enough. When do people start to wake up and realize that this isn't the way we need to bring up the next generation. We are supposed to raise them up to be better than us and help them to not make the same mistakes that we have made. I am beyond tired of kids raising kids and thinking it is okay to be your child's friend and homeboy/homegirl. Please grab ahold of your kids and don't let them lose themselves behind social media. Wake up and start being a parent to your children and explain to them, in no way shape or form is this okay. As adults, we can go see this and head to places where we can see this type active by choice. Where is the world does this say the kids have a choice to see this type of things. What about the ones who aren't aware of this like this? All it takes is one friend to mention what Cardi B did on the Youtube video and a boy at school thinking is cute.  Let's start taking back our youth and make a change so that the next generation after them won't be lost

this song and that powerful message is everything. couldn't have say it better myself. idk why i never heard this song sooner but i'm glad i did coz this song is really relatable coz something like this happen in real life and it's not too late to seek for help. and i want to say thank you to Logic for creating this song and to Khalid and Alessia Cara for feauturing in it. they are all such talented singer. i probably never heard Logic song before other then this but after his performance on VMAS i think i should listen more to his others song. and seeing him win an award was the best coz he deserve it! i love artist like this who created song that open up people eyes that always have meaning behind it. rather then artist that created song to hate on other artist. i have heard alot of garbage song but this ain't one of them. don't you wish that one day you could wake up from your sleep, turn on the news and hear there's peace on earth. that probably will never happen but we all can dream about it.
