        after  what  had  happened  back  at  the  sanctuary  with  carl  showing  up  and  gunning  down  one  of  his  men,   negan  had  decided  to  personally  take  him  back  home  to  alexandria  himself.   he  was  hoping  to  come  across  rick  however,   extremely  disappointed  to  learn  that  the  leader  was  gone  on  a  supply  run,   but  still  trying  to  make  the  most  of  it  --  after  all,   those  supplies  would  end  up  HIS  anyway.    with  the  younger  grimes  leading  the  way  to  his  abode,   negan  followed  in  tow,   eventually  entering  the  home  and  being  pleasantly  surprised  to  see  a  face  he  didn't  recognize,   a  beautiful  woman  he  hadn't  seen  and  somehow,   someway  ...  she  was  within  ricks  home.   with  a  wide  smirk  against  bearded  features,   he  then  sauntered  to  where  she  was,   stopping  a  fair  distance  away  from  her  since  he  wasn't  going  to  get  too  close  YET,    time  would  come.

         ❝  and  who  might  you  be,   huh  ?   and  why  in  goddamn  hell  has  rick  been  hidin'  you  ?  ❞

They  say  it’s  bad  luck to have a woman on board.  Salazar has found himself unconcerned with such trivial matters.  The sole factor that has remained of relevance to him --  the one thing he has  obsessed  over in all these years  --  is whether or not there are  pirates  to be found.  His hunt takes precedence over all other issues.  It always has, and will continue to do so forevermore.  This woman is no different from that particular breed of vermin.  Had she nothing to offer, he would have gladly disposed of her then and there.  Unfortunately, it appears she can still be of use to him.  Salazar pushes on.  ❛ There is something I’d like to know. ❜

❛ Something you can  help  me with. ❜  His rasp is slick with near-sarcasm, an underhanded nature that assures brutality.  By commencing with his plans, she would help herself, as well.  Nevertheless, he maintains low expectations.  Pirates are capable of little more than disappointment.

YESS!! this is so real tho there’s never a dull moment out here. Some guy straight up rode a horse down main street here in the ‘burbs and everyone was confused. This woman was sticking her head out of her mini coop like :O

Dolores smiled at Laurel, sitting at the edge of the wooden walk of main street as fireworks blasted overhead. All the colors, all the lights--they were a beautiful sight to see. She wished she had her paints with her--it was a vision she wanted to treasure forever.

“I do believe we are, Laurel,” she sighed. “Dreaming of a life for all of us.”

“Miss Allerdyce, your shop always brings such a smile to my face everyday I’m able to come into town.” The young Abernathy woman slipped her basket to the crook of her elbow, picking up the edge of her skirt as not to disturb the glass vases of flora.

“I’m looking for something blue--pastel, maybe, like the sky? For a painting I’m working on for my father for his birthday. Sure does love the color of the sky.”

            resolve to have the new crops planted as quickly as possible is challenged by her turning stomach. she’s left with no choice but to set the trowel aside and move away from the garden, hand resting over her stomach like it’s touch could EASE her unsettled stomach. with a heavy sigh she reaches for a water bottle, taking a seat on the nearest bench. lips curve into a smile to ease any WORRY that might have arisen. ❛ give me a minute and i’ll be back on my feet—should’ve taken a BREAK sooner. ❜
